Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries
Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Rights of data subjects / your rights under data protection law
Right to information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR:
In particular, you have a right to information about your personal data processed by us, the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period or the criteria for determining the storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, complaint to a supervisory authority, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved and the scope and intended effects of such processing. You also have the right to request information as to whether the personal data concerning you is transferred to a third country. In this context, you may request to be informed of the appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR in connection with the transfer.
Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR:
You have a right to rectification of incorrect data concerning you and/or completion of your incomplete data stored by us. The controller must carry out the rectification without undue delay.
Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR:
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR:
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the accuracy of your data, which you dispute, is being verified, if you refuse to delete your data due to unauthorized data processing and instead request the restriction of the processing of your data, if you need your data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims after we no longer need this data after the purpose has been achieved or if you have lodged an objection for reasons of your particular situation, as long as it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons prevail.
If the processing of personal data concerning you has been restricted, this data - apart from its storage - may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the Union or of a Member State. If the restriction of processing has been restricted in accordance with the above conditions, you will be informed by the controller before the restriction is lifted.
Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR:
You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller, where technically feasible.
Right to withdraw consent granted pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR:
You have the right to withdraw your consent once given to us at any time with effect for the future. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future. In the event of revocation, the data concerned will be deleted immediately, unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR:
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.
Right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR:
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.
If you exercise your right to object, the processing of the data concerned will be terminated unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
If your personal data is processed by us for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the general right to object at any time to the processing of personal data for the purpose of such marketing. If you exercise your right to object, the processing of the data concerned for direct marketing purposes will cease.

The website cannot be accessed and offered to users without the use of this data; there is a legitimate interest in making it technically possible to access and use the website.
Forwarding of data
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. Your data will not be sold under any circumstances.
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:
- you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
- the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data,
- in the event that there is a legal obligation for disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and
- this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
Data protection for applications
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application procedure is primarily Section 26 BDSG in the version applicable from 25.05.2018. According to this, the processing of data required in connection with the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship is permitted. Should the data be required for legal prosecution after completion of the application process, data processing may be carried out on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 EU GDPR, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) EU GDPR. Our interest then lies in the assertion of or defense against claims.
By sending us your application, you agree that we may store and process your data for the purposes of application, recruitment and employment. You can revoke this consent at any time and withdraw your application.
The personal data of your application will be processed by us exclusively for the purpose of processing your application and in the recruitment process. Vacancies are filled in cooperation with the responsible employees and managers.
Your data will be deleted six months after completion of the application process, unless you agree to a longer storage period in order to consider you for future vacancies. If you are hired, your data will be transferred to our personnel data.

This website uses plugins from the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

Vimeo also obtains your IP address. However, we have configured Vimeo so that Vimeo does not track your user activities and does not set any cookies.
The use of Vimeo is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.
